Question what should i use???

Ok i give up on this damn nosie so time to look at things and try some more stuff Here is what i got so what do i need.......

625cfm carter........do i need a 750cfm
preformer intake.......should i get an RPM
crane cam just above stock some.........what is a good duration and lift
stock springs and valves
headers long tube with 2 1/2 pipe flowmasters and no cats
MSD 6 off road box
ford racing chain
stock dist( for a 79 351w.....but it is new)
plain jane lifters,pushrods and rockers
THE BLOCK,ROTATING ASSEMBELY AND HEADS ARE FROM A 94 F-350 351W.i PUT IT IN AN 86 BRONCO WHICH IS MY DAILYDRIVER AND MUDD BUGGY.

all i want is a good runing truck and so far all it gives me is a headash...............mjl351w

what should i use???

I don't think a 750 cfm would be right on your 351, unless you are running high horsepower. For low end, the 625 is right. I think if you cam it, use what ever lifters, pushrods, rockers, and springs that match that cam. Don't tell yourself that you need more cam than you really do. Be realistic. A Performer cam, or a good RV cam is a nice choice. I know it doesn't have an earth shattering lopey idle, but like I said. You have to be realistic. I would use the Performer manifold. I have used two of these in the past and had good luck. (one on a 350 chevy, and a 360 ford)
