Bolt Size Question

Can anyone tell me offhand, what is the size of the Dampner bolt on the front of the crank? I need to buy one, and I don't want to go buy a whole set that big. Thanks.

Bolt Size Question

I would go to the junkyard and rob one. That will be hard to find at your local Ace Hardware. It has fine threads. Take a 15/16" socket and short extension with you.

Bolt Size Question

Chad, You will need a set of sockets, a couple of extensions and a ratchet and breaker bar. Tools are a good investment and if you buy Sears or one of those you get a lifetime guarantee. This engine work hobby will require a decent set of tools. A 1/2 inch drive set and combination wrench set to start and a mallet brass drift and hammers as well. Post what you have and we can advise.
