deceleration vibration

1998 f-150 4x4 4.6L 116,000 miles or so.

This fiasco started when I noticed a bad vibration in the seats and floor when coasting from 70MPH. So took it home jacked it up found complete tie-rod assembly had excessive play left to right, up and down and front to back. Also found passenger upper ball joint was shot. Last night tore it all apart and replaced inners, outers, pitman arm, idler arm, and gear box cuz I broke it trying to install new pitman arm. Also replaced upper ball joint. Now steering is great and no floating from left to right.

But...Vibration is still in the seats and floor while decelerating from about 70MPH or so. It does it in drive and also in neutral. Upon hitting the brakes it gets 10 times worse.

Truck does not do this while stopped in neutral or park with revving the engine.

4x4 does not work also...front drive shaft turns but wheels do not, could this be related?

Any one have any suggestions on this or have you had the same issue???please help

I have read
