So since it was beautiful today, I managed to get out to the truck. I didn't get as much done as I wanted to but I got both headlight assemblies out as well as the gas tank.. I was hoping to get the taillight panels off so I get goin on the metal work on those but apparently that part of the truck is an elaborate puzzle that needs to be unraveled before I can even get to the spot welds..

Hello AlaskansI'm pulling a day-shift today

I'm just not a morning person, I don't like waking up to an alarm clock at 4:30 in the morning and needing to be out the door in fifteen minutes.
B- Uno, I've got a 1959 F100 Custom Cab Styleside Longbed that was given to me by my parents for my 16th Birthday. It has a 390 and a C6 trans with a 9 inch rear with 4.56 Gears. It will eventually be a 4x4 and have a 302 Man o' War block that will be stroked as big as it'll go with a new C6 Hooked up to an Atlas T-case coupled to two 609 axles. as far as the body goes, I have modest plans. I might make it a short bed but I will raise the bed sides above the body line to match the cab. other than that I will be shaving the drip rails and frenching in stepside style taillights. Of course I will put in a nice wood bed floor and update the interior as well.

why do you want planetary axles? is it gonna be a wheeler?
I'm basically just over building it. eventually it'll have over 1k HP and torque and I wanna see what a real 4 wheel burnout is like..
besides this is Alaska! so anywhere has the potential to be off road...
