Salvage Yards

So, now that it's officially truck-workin-on weather, I'm looking for opinions on good salvage yards to go scrounge for parts at. Specifically body parts.

Hopefully I've got most of the mechanical stuff to a stable point (assuming I can finish assembly on the driveline in the next couple of days, gotta love flywheels), and I'm starting to think about replacing some body panels. Looking at a bed, doors, and a right fender, hoping that the left one can be sanded/primered.

This is for a 78 f-150 btw.

Anyone in the Des Moines area have any good spots that they like to scrounge at? Also, anyone in the area feel like helping to bust knuckles?

Don't know many down that way, but out to Pella is Doug's 4 wheelers. They have a lot of stuff, but can be a bit pricey sometimes.

Yeah, haven't had the time or the motivation to head down that way. Of course one of the pieces I'm looking for seems to be the hardest to find, and that's a new bed. Mine's beyond salvage.

You'll pay abit for one of those... Up here to Fairfax is Rust Free auto parts, they haul out of Texas and the southwest. They have a number of listings in the Cedar Rapids Craigslist.
