Boost numbers

How do I check my boost numbers? Wot & watch the gauge. I have never wot'ed the truck,lol. I don't wanna get whiplash!

Thanks Ron - I'll have to get her out & open it up if this blessed rain ever stops- Not complaining, just wish it would stop for the weekends

never WOT'd it?????? why not, its cool. when i mat it from a dead stop the back tires dont let loose for 50 feet or so when she gets some boost goin. i max out at about 26 or so psi with whats in my sig.

If you want to keep 50 mph on our grades with 15,000 lb behind you, you will WOT it quite a bit.
I have Early 99 all stock and with original WW it topped at 18 psi on few occasions.
Now with new compressor wheel I am getting 18 psi at any harder push and have seen 20 for quite a while.

Casey - I know - Most of the time I tow and I just never got into it. Gonna go out on a limb and cut it loose to check the boost. My luck the one time I do it I'll get a ticket.

MAN you nee to get out of you state sometimes. When you tow a trailer in Nebraska, Nevada and few other central states, you will have WOT for hours and still see all garbage trucks and horse trailers passing you over.
