Hi all,
This is my first time posting here although I often search and find good info. I know this topic is a rehash but I couldn't find the info I needed. I have a 1993 f-250 with manual transfer case shifter. The shifter works as long as you pull up on the shifter handle when changing between 2wd and 4wd, (i haven't been brave enough to try 4L yet) but there's nothing holding the linkage onto the guide track so it really doesn't work well enough for my wife to use it. I would like to know what the guide or bushing assembly is supposed to look like so I can weld something up.
Pictures worth a 1000 words so hopefully these flicker links work so you can see what I'm working with.
Look's like everything is there, trace it up to where it bolts to shifter arm. It may have loosened and turned some part of 360 degrees, or lost the nut that holds it to the case. When done, spray it with ATF now and then
