92 tranny i need help
hey, iv got a 92 xlt automatic and lately my gears have been acting kinda wierd like it would not go when i press the gas for a little bit and once the rpms would get up there it would go. but it wasnt that big of a deal for awhile until i was at a stop light and i pressed the gas and it was doing the stalling thing so i pessed it harder and then it made a thump sound and wouldnt go any where. so i had to push it into a parking lot and no matter what gear it was in it wouldnt go. i would really like some advice on this i know ill problly have to replace it but ne thing else would really help. thanx
