What engine do I have????
The new to me 74 F250 highboy I just aquired has a 4 barrel intake with a reducer to a 2 BBL Autolite carb. As far as I know this is a 360 engine. Thats what the P.O says. First, How can I tell exactley what engine I have? The block has #352 stamped in the upper left side and if someone changed intake manifolds, would it be better just to run a 4bbl carb and eleviate all the BS adaptors this guy put on it. It looks like Larry the Cable Guy was under the hood
As far as I know these trucks didn't come with a 4bbl carb and running one on a 2v engine is not a good idea. Is there any way to find out what I'm dealing with here?

Where do I mark the dowel? At the spark plug hole or the bottom of the valve cover?
