Well, I got the email that my shocks, etc. were in this morning. A quick jaunt south across the border to pick everything up and we're off! New Skyjacker Nitro 8000's for the front and new stainless braided brake lines. WOW, what a difference in ride. Now it's almost as good as the I-beam and coils. While I had her up on blocks, I pulled the hubs and spindles too. Good thing I did. I had neglected to grease the driver's side spindle bearing when I put it in and the passenger side lock nut was barely hand tight. Changed the oil while I had things apart as well. All in 4 hours. Not bad, eh? We're looking pretty good now. I have to wait until Monday to change the diff lube, but that'll be it for a while. I'll try to get some pics up here soon for you guys.
see...that is the beauty of not having any projects sitting in various stages of ill-repute... no remorse, no sadness because i can't get to it, just go about my life...
