Well, today was a pretty fruitful day on the parts trail. 1)I scored a low mileage '84 Jag IFS for my '50 F1. 2)Got a 5 lug Maverick 8" rearend. These are very hard to find. 3)A '55 F5 Marmon Herrington. This truck can be bought!
All of these items were in one yard. Sure is fun when treasures can be drug home!
hhhhhmmmm a 55 mh ................ good thing i'm broketed right now or i'd be asking for directions ........ hey stu i know it's not the years ya like , but it is a mh and not too far from us ...................
Isn't the MM a rare truck. I don't know much about them but heard they were very hard to come by. Sounds like a good day.
Wish we had junk yards like that here in Maryland. My Grandmother had a yard when I was kid. It is still around just owned by someone else now. Foy's Salvage over on the eastern shore of Maryland. Fun times as a kid going through that yard.
Hmmm. Around Casey, normally not an area you'd find a M-H. The only yard I've been to around Casey is Stutesman's. Wasn't there was it? It's been a few years since I've been down there so I guess anything could have been moved in. I need another truck like I need a migrane. Really need to part with some. Stu
