8.8 Gears
90 F150 4x4, 300 Six, M5OD, 3.55 gears, 31's. Im getting 33's soon and i would like to get 3.75ish gears for the truck. I dont want to spend lots so where can I find a truck with 3.73 or 3.75? explorers came with 8.8's, can the gears be swapped into my F150?

1996 and up 5.0 Explorers came with the towing package that includes 3.73 gears. My
1996 AWD 5.0 has these. And they are 31 spline axels. The housing from an Explorer
is probably not the same width as one from an F150 though.
