C4 Transmission
<!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message -->I just got a used C4 transmission. I plan to bolt it up to the 351C in my 91 Ford Ranger. What are the pro's and con's of these transmissions? Any suggestions for checks and maintenance before installing it?

what engine did that C4 come off of?? there are different bolt patterns.
and there are also differences in the trans itself. if you try using a 6 cylinder trans on a 351, it will not last very long.

It came off a 302 V8. Will it hold up to a stock 2V 351C with 4V intake and carb?
