Custom Parts
Hi,
I am trying to fix up my Dad's old truck for my little brother's 16 Birthday. The truck has a lot of sentimental value to both of us. We want to really fix it up though. He wants a cowl induction hood, a grill insert, and several other custom parts I can't find ANYWHERE. The truck is a 1986 F-150 Stepside. I have called every parts wharehouse I can find. If anyone has any information on where I could get these parts, or any part like these, please e-mail me, or let me know.

i know you can find pipe/tubed grills most any place for the truck. as for the hood you might try a web search. or order a cowl and install it on the hood yourself. since i'm not to crazy for adding the body work i'm not sure where to find cowl hoods ect.

Finding the tube/billet grill is not as easy as it may seem, at least not in my experience. I want one for my 86, yet they seem to be in short supply.
I did find a hood from a link on this board, but I cannot remember the place. Try a search on this board for it, it should be here somewhere......
