Was reading that Windsor and Romeo built engines had different valve covers, was this only for certain years? I have a 99 5.4 built in Windsor on 7-7-99 with an engine code 9G876BA and I only see one type of valve cover available. Is QVS50481R correct?
they'res are a lot difference's between windsors and romeo's so dont think you can swap parts between them easily . i can't find the links i saved that showed them but i'm sure jonny or one of the others have the needed links or info and will be along in a bit .
I just want to change my valve cover gaskets and make sure I have the correct ones before I have the covers pulled.
There are only 2 different 2V cam cover gaskets. Windsor, and Romeo.
Windsors are more "captive" than the Romeos, and tend to stay in the cover when it's removed. Much better than the Romeo version. Any particular reason you're changing the cam cover gaskets?

I have oil seeping up through the grommets so I had to change the cover gaskets also. Now that I have done one side I think I could have just did the grommets. I didn't know they came right out of the top.
