1994 Brake Drums

would brake drums off an 85 work on my truck? they both have the axle thing that sticks out about 6 inches

yes, same sterling 10.25 axle

Not sure what the brake shoe width on the 85..... but I would think the 94 is wider. There are 2.5 and 3 inch shoes.....

Azone sells new for $50-70 each, have you checked the 84s to see if they are even usable within the inner size limits..... There are Max inner sizes too.

just make sure the hub size is the same. other then that, same part number.

the factory drums have probably worn 3/16 to 1/8 of an inch... how much wear is to much wear to be machined?

you can call your local brake/repair shop. ask if they turn drums. if so, they will tell you what the least material you can have. then just measure the ones your looking at
