Rear differential

I have a 2002 F250 Crewcab 4x4 with V10, and was wondering what the rear end has in it. I want to get some kinda of limited slip or locker for it, but am unsure of its size, and probably will want to change the gearing as well. I know it has 3.73 gearing and it's an open diff. Besides that I don't know. It's either a 10.5" or 10.25". The tag on the differential until it's self reads: V 414 B on the top line, .73 10 5 2D15 on the bottom line. I have a line on a sterling 10.5" limited slip rear carrier for a f250 and was wondering if it would work.
Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

Yep, it's a Ford Visteon 10.5" full-floating axle made at the Sterling Michigan plant (V 414 B) on April 15th 2002. (The 2D15 code) It does have a 3.73 open-differential. You probably didn't see the "3" right at the edge of the tag. Had it been a limited slip, it would have said 3L73. the "10 5" indicates the 10.5" ring gear diameter.
