Need Rim Info
Need some advice from the Ford experts. I have a 1950 3/4 ton GMC PU that was restored some years ago. I have been trying to find a rim for the spare tire and nothing I see matches it. However someone over at the other board said it looks like I may have mid 60s Ford rims. I'm looking to confirm it so I can locate an extra rim that will match the rest, I want to side mount the spare so matching is important to me
My rims look like this

I was given the following pic of rims on a 65 Lincoln and except for the number of lug holes it is almost a perfect match. Note the curved raised area between the studs and the lack of spaces between the outer and inner rim.
Can anybody over on the Ford board shed some light on this? Better yet if you have an identical 16" 8 hole rim for sale I would be very interested
Thanks for the help
Carl
8 lug / 6.50" bolt circle wheels with tabs on the outside of the wheel's center section for hubcaps to snap over:
1967/96 F250/350 / 1969/74 E300 (E = Econoline) / 1975/2002 E250/350.
If genuine Ford wheels, there may be a stamped ID number adjacent to the valve stem.
The Lincoln wheel besides being 5 lug, has a much smaller bolt circle (5.00"), and has no tabs for hubcaps. The last year Lincoln's came with hubcaps: 1951.
You might post this pic and question in the 1948/60 forum. FTE member truckdog62563 is absolute guru when it comes to what wheels fit what.
