Transmission Compatability
I have a 91 E350 with an E40D automatic and the 7.3 idi engine. The trans is going bad and it is time for me to start looking for a replacement or to have mine rebuilt. I found a 95 trans out of an F350 with a 6.0 powerstroke. Does anybody know if this transmission would work for my van? I am not sure if the gearing is different, or maybe the output shaft is different, or anything like that. Anybody know if this trans will work in my earlier ford van?
