The a/c recirculation has not been working right. You can hear it try to switch over when you push the button but it sounds like it is blowing hard under the dash and is not coming out of the vents. Then today I noticed that the air is not staying cold. When I accelerate the air coming out of the vents gets warm and the air hasn't been very cold anyway. I realize that it is hot outside but this truck in past summers would freeze you out of the cab. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Also, make sure a plastic market bag hasn't gotten sucked up into the recirculating air inlet duct in the passenger's foot well. Just get on that side's floor and reach up in there to see. Amazing what a thin piece of plastic baggie will do.
Hey, thanks Springer, you were right on time with the plastic bag. I had a newspaper bag sucked up in there. Haven't had a chance to check the clutch spacing yet but the air seems to be doing the job alright in the recirculating mode.
