"E" vs. "F" series
I bought a '90 E350 4x4 (aftermarket coil sprung solid axle D44) frame that formerly an ambulance, does anyone know if the frames and set-up is the same as the "f" series pick-ups. There was no body, just a 7.3, trans and transfercase. It runs and moves how it is, but was wondering if i could put the pick-up body on this. I didn't know if the body mounts were to far forward or ???? Thank You for any help.

The nose is too short on a van and the cab is too far forward. But if you are up for a challenge

Just drop a conversion van body on that frame, and you'll be having a fairly rare vehicle (not too many 4x4 vans out there).

Ever seen a van turned into a pickup? I've seen a few being used for towing horse trailers. A 4x4 version would be sweet!

Ok, thanks for the info! I'll have to figure out what i'm gonna do now? I was hoping they were the same. 4x4 Vans are sweet!

Stay with me now cut the van like in the photoshop and keep that part as a removable hard top. That or full length sun roof/rag top? It might fail inspection if you chop it because those may be required support pillars

+1 for a 4x4 van
