Temp Gauge
ok, now my temp gauge does not work.. i know how to change the thermostat but is that was makes the gauge work? after playing with the truck for 2 months i finally got it to pass inspection too.. no i just need the gauge to work. i have a little cluster of gauges to put , oil press.,volt,and temp..but if i dont need them i dont think i will put themin.. and i have a tac out of my brothers truck.. i think it is a 6 inch or so its pretty big...so any info on how to get this gauge to work let me know.. Temp Gauge
The sender is located on the passenger side toward the rear of the head (real tight spot to get to). It's possible the wire could have fallen off if the guage isn't moving at all. If it's not that or the sender, test the guage by grounding the wire, and it should peg at hot.
