Just found an old M&F magazine in the garage from April '98. PAW used to sell a what they called a "super stock crank kit" for a lot of the FE's. The 428 kit with forged pistons was $950 and included pistons and pins, rod and main bearings,rings, connecting rods and the crankshaft. Cast pistons were $883. The 428 CJ/SCJ kit was $1110. Used to see PAW ads in all the mags.

Their catalogs used to be 2" thick too. I used to buy quite a bit from them years ago before the internet. I always had pretty good luck buying from them not many issues. Returns were easy and not a problem either.
