C6 from manual

Picking up a C6 with transfer case today swapping into my 150 with a 302. Trans coming from bronco with 302 I think a 1990. What should I expect doin the swap from a manual.

Curious... did you straight pull the tranny and plan on putting it in or was it rebuilt?

Its still attached to an engine that was pulled wit 90k. I was debating on chancing it n putting right in. But may get rebuilt first since that's what I SHOULD do. But its not a daily so if it breaks or don't work its no rush in re doing the labor. Just PITA

do you know the vehicle and how it was driven that put 90K on it or did you get it from a junkyard?

If the fluid is bright red, I would put it right in. If the fluid is brown and stinks, then it might need some work.

You may need some driveshaft work after the swap, maybe not, I can't remember since there are so many tranny combos for these trucks.

Good deal, C6 is very tough, just don't let it sit for very long periods of time. Can't wait to see pictures.
