A while back I had found an excellent write-up for installing a pillar mount gauge set for the 6.0l. It had detailed instructions for power hook-up etc... Does anyone know where to find this?
Does anyone know where to buy the adapter that fits into the fuel pressure test port to go from the metric o-ring seal thread to 1/8 NPT? I bought a set of Glowshift gauges maybe the adapter is included in the kit...
The glowshift gauge will not have the correct sized sender, it will be 1/8" pipe in their box. You can pick up the adapter at a local hydraulic supply or at ITP diesel 6.0L Fuel Pressure Adapter
I just finished a three gauge pillar install with glowshift gauges and I am very happy with them and the outcome.

Where did you mount the fuel pressure sending unit?

I don't know about the new ITP fuel adapter hose, but with the original one it is the perfect length to go to the fan guard. I tie strapped it there hidden underneath and completely out of the way. Ran that harness and my boost gauge tube in convolute tubing into the cab from there. I'll try to remember to get some pic's of it tomorrow. Been on there for 3 years with no problems.
I ran my hose up back towards the master cylinder and secured the sender near the firewall below the adapter height to eliminate air bubbles in the line, plus that eliminated running lots of wires any length. On my truck there is a soft rubber cover (almost like tape)over an opening into the cab, so it was a perfect location to enter near the pillar. As for the gauges, they are a tight fit in a triple pillar mount, as they are long and can make it seem like they wont fit in, but even after painting, I just touched up the two spots that it touched as I pushed them in.
