Here they are on the back of my '74 supercab. I am trying to decide whether or not I like them or the 5 spoke alcoas (on the front) better.
I like the 5 spokes because they are really rare and no one has them. I have 5 of those and at last count about 20-24 of the "bronco" ones you pictured. I am tempted to run the "bronco" ones because then the tow rig (my '74 crew cab) and this truck will match as I have the 8 lug, 16" version on that thing.
I MIGHT sell 4 of my 5 lug alcoas when I move out of the shop - but they will be the curb rashed ones. All the good ones have expensive race tires mounted on them.
i have a couple of sets of them. Didnt realize until I picked this set up there are minor differences between model years.
Those are actually a different wheel. Similar design but they have the fake rivets in them. That style is also cast while the original ones being discussed in the thread are forged. Still look good though!
Thats what I mean. I never paid attention to the differences until the difference in the rivots versus no rivets until recently. Of the 4 sets I have, 2 sets have the rivets, 2 do not. I just picked this set up with the tires the other day. I was told this set came off a 93 f150. Does any body know the difference? is it a model year thing?
Both styles were available around the same time frame. I don't know the specific years, but the smooth ones were available on F-150's and broncos from 92-96 I believe.
If I remember right the ones with the rivets came out a little earlier (89 maybe???) and I think went away about 93???
