well the adapter broke thats between the trans n t case, n i wanna find that peice so i can keep what i got, but if i cant find it, which ih avent, then i wanna put a diff trans in, whether its auto or manual, whatevers easier or cheaper

B is the overdrive RUG or hybrid toploader.
Here's a site that has the info on your tranny, and if you read down through, you will find the Tremec built toploader had the 170F lettering on the tranny.

From what I gather in the above link, you might find a jeep with the part you need also, if they have the same bolt pattern on the transfer case.
