C-4 Transmission Question
I had the C4 transmission in my truck go out on me back in November. I have recently finally had the money to replace it with a rebuilt transmission (I was not able to rebuild mine for other reasons). First one barely made it a mile so I did a warranty exchange and it appears they sent me one out of a car. Currently we are trying to find out if the will cover the labor to switch out the linkages since that seems to be the only part which I cannot make work. However, one question I have is will there be any difference as far as the way they work (gearing, etc.) between the truck and the car transmission? I do not know much about transmissions short of physically swapping them out(and the car transmission I got does physically fit into my truck itself) so forgive me if this is a stupid question.
