the new parts look great, hope you recover well but sound like a win win situation at work, you get back on the job and the young guy will get some valuable ojt.
I just installed that same HID kit in my OBS. What light color did you get - 4300K, 5000K, etc? Mine are the 5000K and I ABSOLUTELY love them! With your new housings, it'll be easy cheesy to adjust them. Took me a couple of tries so that I wasn't blinding people (even semis) but I got them dialed in perfectly and can see better than anything I've ever drove before. Wish I would have put them in my SD when I still had it!!!
i got the 5k cant wait to put them on.... moose are just too big to be hitting..there roming now..never know when your going to see them..you cant see them like you do deer..the eye's on a moose dont glow like deer eye does...these lights should make the whole moose glow lol..
That's what I found with mine. Took off for Wyoming in the middle of the night. The first 20 miles I blinded everyone I met. Stopped and adjusted them down and then couldn't see anything for the next 20 miles. Adjusted again and found the sweet spot. There's a really wicked stretch of highway in eastern Montana that is notorious for deer. With these headlights, I saw every one of them. Kinda scary actually knowing how many of them were in the ditches and at the edge of the road.
I'm with you on the Moose, Elk, etc up here too. Want as much light as possible in front of me so I have a better chance of seeing of the them.
I know what you mean about sitting around the house, damn it sucks..You will have to snap a picture of what a moose looks like lit up though, if you dont mine..
