For the folks that have converted carbed motors to EFI, what have you had the best results with. I'm looking to use any factory stuff. I'm looking for an aftermarket kit.
I have heard of people having good luck with Holley Commander 950 systems. No, the 950 DOES NOT stand for cfm. They are available in both TBI and MPFI systems, at a number of cfm ratings. They are programable with a PC. Be warned though, they ARE expensive!!!
what are you looking to put the efi on. your not giving a whole lot of info. if its ford you can just grab a mustang harness and ecu along with new injectors and so on. chevy im not to sure about . it all depends on the motor and application your looking at running this in.
ok, I'm building a 418 out of a 351W motor from a 93 F-150 roller cam motor. At least I'm trying to. I'm gonna put a set of Edlebrock RPM heads or a set of Dart iron heads on it. I haven't decided on the cam yet, but it won't be too wild. This is my daily ride here. It's hooked to an NP435 4sd and an 8.8 rear with 4.10 gears.
is this truck a 4x4, or 2wd street truck. the dart heads will out flow the edelbrock heads but both are going to produce more high rpm horse power and less torque down low. you might look into a mass air conversion but not necessary. world products make a nice set of heads for 4x4's if that is what your truck is.
