Hi all, new guy here. I'm really a Chevy guy with a 1958 Apache. My brother and I got a 1978 Ford F150 Custom to use for parts on our Grand-dad's 1976 Ranger XLT. We'll we have changed our minds as the 78' is in pretty good condition, so we are fixing her up and gonna drive her for a while at least.
My question is what transmission do I have? It's the 4 speed overdrive tranny, you lift up and go over and up to shift into reverse. I have crawled under her and saw there is shift linkage on the side of the tranny.
Also, where is the drain and fill on this Trans so I can change the gear lube?
