I was reading a guy's website about his truck and he said something about being able to fit 24" wipers no problem... I told my cousin and he went out and bought some. He put them on his truck (then a '00 F-250, but now an '03 F-250) and said "Man, Jon... it looks like there's enough space for even longer wipers!" Well, I finally got tired of my stock-style wipers smearing my window so I measured and sure enough... I could fit a wiper 4" longer than my stock wiper. I didn't know that 22" was stock until I got to the auto store. Well, I bought them today and put them on... they fit great! Work good too! And... looks like a 28" MIGHT just squeeze in there. The only issue I can see happening is where the window rubber curves at the upper corners. The edge of the blade would get hung up there. That should be able to be fixed by simply lowering the wiper arms down a spline or two on the shafts. But, I don't think it's worth it. Plus, I think the arms are also keyed to the shaft like a small engine shaft. But anyways, here are some pictures... I can't wait to try them out! BTW... this is my first set of these funky new wipers. Everybody I talked to about them said they really are what they're cracked up to be... we'll see.
Yes, I have the 24s on mine. Huge improvement over the stock wipers.
Since I am overseas, my wife has been taking care of my truck, Big Red. I guess I didn't tell her the blades are longer than stock. She took it in for an oil change and asked them to change the wiper blades. She tried to explain we use a blade longer than stock, but the rocket scientists didn't seem to get it until she asked them to just remove one blade at a time and replace it with the same size.

I'm glad you can trust your wife, but I'm not so sure about the place that changed the oil in your truck!?
1. you are gonna wear your wiper motor out faster.
2. you have increased empty weight of truck.
3. thereby reducing payload
4. you maybe over the daily bag limit for lovebugs.
5. you put excessive strain on the electrical system.
6. you increase wind drag reducing mileage.
7. your windsheild will let in more light, blinding you
8. thereby fading uphostry faster.
9. there has to be a nine so we can get a top 10
10. you might put an eye out with those things!

There did I forget any?
HAHA!!! I read #1 and thought you might be serious... but I kept reading... that's hilarious! I really like them... they work great with the washer fluid I squirt on the window (it hasn't rained on me yet).
