We purchased a 1990 Super Duty and had a head on collision on it's first trip out. Everyone's OK. Not our fault. Totaled.
Anyway, the insurance company is giving us hassels on coverage. They keep comparing it to a F-350 saying a F-450 didn't exist in 1990 and that we will have to make a case in order to get a larger payoff.
That brings me here. Can anyone contribute on differences between a F-350 and a Super Duty or other ideas to make our case. I'm scouring the net for vehicles for sale that are closer comparisons to what we had and have been relatively successful but would like to include a write-up with what I've found.
A super duty back then would have had 16.5 or 19 inch rims, and I think that the front springs would have had more arch in them than a F350. I'm just going from what the '92 super duties look like at the place where I work.
