OT need some prayers for Russ's son.......
Russ's (Rapid Russ) son Rob is in ICU with head trauma out in CA. He had a accident which caused this to happen. Russ is at home in VA many miles away waiting for updates as we speak. Not an easy thing to do when your son is 3000 miles away in ICU. We've always been a pretty tight group here so if everyone can say some extra prayers for Rob. Russ has been a great freind to me over the years and we've seen each other through good times and bad. So please say a few extra prayers for Rob, Russ, Sandi and his family. It would really mean a lot.

For the Prayer post ! As of 1PM EST..Rob is still in the ICU unit and test are still being done on him.. Rob has had numerous Brain scans from the doctors and there watching very close to the brain swelling...and looking for the point as in which it starts going down to get in there and stop the bleeding...I was told in my last update that the beeding has slowed down..But to what point there not sure of..they just think that as of now..

Mr. Russ, you do not know me being a new person here plus a cowpoke and a old horseshoer by trade with only a small spread but your name was mentioned many times by a friend I ran across last year. He gave me a spare driveshaft and carburator he had laying around said getting rid of his large stash of truck and engine parts, mostly engine hot rod parts free or cheap plus a complete spare truck he needs to take apart and sell off.
As said in the past has mentioned you as a old drag racer like he was and friend. This helper of free parts has become welcome to my ranch anytime to fish or have a chew and a beer, talks some strange inside engine tricks but then he is a wild German that I found out. A loner by far. I would give him a ring but he will not leave a phone number I would tell him about you son's accident he does not know about this. I just call him the Crazy Panzer the way his truck runs, too loud scares my cattle plus he paints the highway with two long rubber marks when he leaves my spread. A I will see you person but can not be contacted type. Calls himself a beemer nut. Just had to pass on my heavy heart and all the best for your sons recovery. CowPie.

Well Guys, an update on my Son...they took his neck brace off late last night..and brought him out of the induced come....The brain has quit swelling..as I was told at 2am EST...He has to go thru another brain scan this morning...But he is awake today....they have him on a heavy morphine drip right now..Thats about all I got from my daughter in law's text Mess..

And Cowpie ! Yes thats Carl (Beemernut) He's and Glenn (FFR428) are brother's from different mother's As Wes would say....Carl's a good Man bar none..our family's are very close...

I must say that Glenn and Russ we are rather tight, I went thru hard times with my back injury and surgeries plus with 6 years eating up my retirement savings and raising a family. Bar none Russ and Glenn we email way beyond what we would ever post on any open forum. I have my reasons for dropping the FTE forum, no protection or backup with swearing and name calling by newbie members, it went out of control for a so called family forum. I can live with this by going away and onto other forums that I have got respected with by what little I know about FE's be it only 42 years wrenching and racing them. Yes I wanted to come back and tease a few members that pissed me off. CowPie was my reply but then why waste my time when I know who my real friends are by way of emailing. No deleted or altered messages or snooping into my PM's. CowPie was a joke at the time.
I found out who my real friends were when I left FTE. Been a couple years
silent but not by email. I still have my special close group of friends, take care all and keep the bumpsides running "Beemer Nut" off into the ozone.

Thought this thread was about someones injured family member. Not a personal gripe. If the former, I've expressed my simpathy and best wishes. If the latter, Realy poor taste. My opinion only. OBCB
