Computer codes for the 6.0

My baby is in the shop till Monday for some minor gasket replacement.
There is much talk here about the computer codes that Ford puts out monthly to their dealers. Called flashes or some darn thing.

Tomorrow I want to ask the service deptartment about these codes and how do I get them done. During the tranny flush last week my baby seemed sluggish on the hammerdown mode. Took it back, they did something with the computer and it made a hell of a differencee. Now goin down the hiway the passing gears seem to need a lot more pedal to accomplish when it wasn't that way before.

What will ford do for me in this area if asked. Horsepower, fuel mileage...what is there?

Help..

ford will do nothing about fuel milage as your superduty is getting better milage then stated on the window sticker. Ford will not add hp to your engine, they seem to be lower boost. the new reflash has lots of upsides though.

Can you share what you know about these?

Anything I should ask them specifically for?

I have alot of info on this engine, not so much on the trans.
if you want the latist reflash wich I myself run in my truck and am happy with it overall you can tell them it runs a little rough when its cold out and when first started.

what info are looking for to be exact. Im not sure what your seeking out and what question you are asking.

do a search for mods. remeber you play you pay and be good with that. this engine can put down so good numbers is fairly stock form. do a search for "mods" and you will see what is being done. as well as what should be done.
so far as fuel milage goes. There are reports between 12-24 mpg. I average 18 and can hit 24 empty on a road trip. Im on the high side but spent 95 percent of my time on the hyw.

blew the soot out

thanks for your response. delivered a trailer to San Berdanino yesterday and heading for Rossburg Ohio as we speak.

Came into Arizona last night with the speed limit is 75. Did 75 for a 150 miles. That really helped the cause. Going to pull the EGR when I get to Eldora Speedway in Ohio. (owned by Tony stewart). The outlaws will be running there fri and sat.

thanks
