yep, your chains being pulled, Ford has had a number of
V6s, most were producced in Europe, as a matter of fact,
the 4.0L is still being produced in Germany. But the first
US designed and produced V6 was the 3.8L, I think that
was '82 or '83, then came the Vulcan, used in the Taurus
and Sable, and later in the Ranger line, and then there is
the Cologne V6, which started life as a 1.3L V4, and grew
up to become the 4.0L V6...
