1967 f100

I just recived a f100 that i have been trying to get for years and i finally got it.So i was wondering if anyone can tell me what the codes mean for this truck befor I start working on it.

SERIAL # F10VCB02660

DOOR TAG

WB COLOR MODEL BODY TRANS AXLE MAX GVW lbs CERT.NET.HP RPMDS
131 MJ F100 181 G 17 05000 172 4000 B47441

Any and all help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Big Papa,
Check this link out, It will tell you all the info you are looking for on your truck. Post some pics if you get a chance so we can see her. Oh by the way your 4th digit on your Vin I'm thinking should be a Y not V. You may want to double check.

V = Incorrect engine code. By the HP & RPM, it's a Y = 352 2V.

C = Oakville, Ontario Canada Assembly Plant.

B02660 = 1967, assembled March 1967.

131" Wheelbase.

MJ: M = Wimbledon White / J = Rangoon Red.

F100 2WD / 5,000 lbs. GVWR

181 = ? No such thing as 1 81, It's I 81: I = Dark Red Crinkle Vinyl & Red Barcelona Pattern Vinyl // 81 = 81B Custom Cab.

G = MX Cruise-O-Matic.

17 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.25-1 / non Limited Slip / 3,300 lb. Rear Axle Capacity.

5,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

172 net HP @ 4,000 RPM

B47441: B4 = Ford of Canada, Midwestern Zone / 7441 = Domestic Special Order number. The truck was special ordered by the original purchaser, not bought "off the lot."

that would be pretty wild to have been around back when these trucks were new and be able to special order one.
