6.0 questions
I want thank all of the smart people on this form, that helped me do the egr delete, oil cooler rebuild/filter, coolant filter, sct x3 tuner & edge insight gauges.. My mpg went from 13 to 15! It feels good to do the work & save some green.What is oil shear, any other mods to prevent future brake downs?

Effects of Shearing
Oil shear is perfectly normal, fluid breaks down just happens. A little worse in our trucks due to the oil fired injectors. Just keep your oil fresh and make sure and use a good quality oil.
As for preventing future breakdowns I would focus on fuel pressure. There is a thread in the tech folder about mod's that will help you out.
