Well, fellas I'm trying to get my wife to use Prozac. I keep bringing these old Ford trucks home, and she keeps getting bent ouf of shape. You would think that after 38 years of "wedded bliss" and 9 grandchildren later that she would "mellow" a bit. I'll never marry another red head - that's fer shur.

It's another '52, but it is an F-6 rather than F-8. It has a 2 speed rear which may solve some of the final ratio worries after I install the 460/C-6.

It will be a good parts truck. It has some of the missing items that I needed.

I'm filling up my new 50X60 barn fast. Anyone need parts for a 69 or 78 Lincoln or tractors or crawlers? Gotta make room for trucks, now.

Tell Earl that the fun may not start, but begging for understanding never stops.

Anyone have any data on the rears in these trucks? The F-8 has a 7.3:1 rear and the F-6 has a 2-speed. Can the lower number gear set be installed in the one having the splitter? Are there diagrams available somewhere on www?

The 2 speeds have a couple different ratio's

5.83-8.11
6.33-8.81

are the two most common for those years...
