werd!!! eventually all questions get answered in the offroad section. you just might have to read 4 pages to find it. this one however was answered quickly, what happens from there has infinite possibilities as to what direction the conversation will go
answer, i don't have a problem with bodylifts, but everyone else does, so expect to get crap for asking about one.
any quality body lift will include a steering shaft spacer, but if you havent bought the suspension lift yet, i say go with a 4inch and forget the bodylift
you can find a 4 inch for under 700 with shocks you just have to look, and 4 is about perfect for a street driven 4x4, bodylifts have a lot of downsides, and that is why they are so cheap
i need ot find me a power steering pump AND a steering box...my wheels is pretty good, but it has a nasty dead spot... thats about a 1/8 turn each way..
you don't NEED the upgrades for the kit, and about the steering,
1 there is a stud with a nut on the steering box that is used for taking the play out of the steering. if you search around on here there are threads that cover how to adjust it.
2 chances are the play is coming from multiple areas in your front end, like tierods, pivot and spring bushings, and the ragjoint on your steering shaft. look into fixing those before thinking about any lift or bigger tires, because if there is a problem, bigger tires and a lift will only exaggerate or speed up the wear in the problem areas. fix them now and you will be time and money ahead
