Hope that's close to home...
OK, sorry 4 all these Q bout your city. You've been very gracious w/me over the 1/4 yr. I've been here.
Alright, the local news. Commin home from the employment office (yes I'm tryin) the wind came up. Crossin the Connecticut River (a 300 ft bridge) I saw the Hadley Plan (90% of the "leaf tobacco" in this country is grown there - wrappers 4 C- gars) I saw the storm had knocked down lots of huge limbs. A little further I saw a cloud ahead. Not a regular cloud, mind U. I could C it was full of "dust" The fallow ground around here has just been plowed. The cloud wuz the farm lands - up in the air?! Reminded me of the dust bowl! Down the rd it got so thick the head lghts could not pierce it (those R 4 the darkness of nite, not THIS). I got thru that to find, in my rear view mirror, not 10 cars behind, that a huge tree had fallen on a car's roof ALL the way cross an 50 ft rd (the 1 I wuz on). ME: luck; them: not.
WOW.
