my mom is fine when she is sleeping....otherwise she is yelling....about 15 hours a day...they doubled all her meds...imma start taking her meds...maybe I can get a good nights sleep...checking out respite care...a couple days of relaxing should work wonders for my sanity...
Mark our prayers & thoughts are with you. I agree with Bart you have a very tough job. It does say alot about you taking on such a tough assignment. I will never know how Vici works with high needs children as she does. It really takes a special person to do as you are Mark.
My new avatar is our new dog Tommy. We had to return Tuffy some time back because he had some real issues that we just could not work with. So I have been keeping my eye open for a new dog & Friday I found Tommy. He was in the pound in Gardnerville NV. He lost his home due to the economy. His family couldn't support him any longer & took him to the pound. He is a great 5 year old Yellow Lab that is ball crazy. He loves kids, he is real friendly, & well behaved. I have had Labs most of my life but this is the first yellow lab.
my first and one of my favorite dogs was a yellow lab "shorty" he weighed about 100 lbs, went everywhere I went, loved cats, (used to carry our cat around in his mouth) I don't think you ca go wrong with a lab
Thanks Bart. Tommy is 81 pounds. He likes cats also. He goes everywhere with me. I had to take him to the Vet to get his rabies shot & they weighed him that is how I know his weight. Labs are great dogs. The Vet thought he was a pure breed, just no papers but I don't care about that anyway.
