It snowed here on Sunday, I was a mile from home on horseback when the storm moved in. I hate to say it, but I am ready for summer

We got up to 68 in the beginning of April. The snow was disapearing fast and the bottoms of the trails to alpine were bare, so I put my sled away 4 weeks earlier then normal. If I had waited a couple of weeks, I could have started riding again

It seems to have happened all over, VT just got 2'+ of snow last week and they got very little this season as a whole!

The horses will walk through snow, its the ice under the snow that worries me.

The snow in the valley is all gone, and the snowstorms that we have had have all dumped less then 2", which melts right away.

I could be riding the horses in valley and sledding in the mountains

I love snow, but I am ready for summer. I am ready to take the horses into the mountains, but I need the snow to melt up there before I can head out.
