no 4 low
i have a 2001 f250 7.3 and a 273 transfer case and it wont go in 4 low. i can go in 4 hi no problem but when i go from 4 hi to 4 low you can hear something atleast try to engage and the 4x4 light goes out and you cant shift it back to 2 hi without shuting off the truck and starting it again. anyone got any sugestions?

There' a motor on the transfer case, that is if you have the swich on the dash, check voltage on the wire connecting to the motor, get someone to help and get under truck and listen if its engaging in low range, also could be switch on dash.
