I'm in DFW Texas and you can't get anything worth a crap for under $5K. Except, I did find a Focus for less that is in very good condition with low miles. The thing was like the last bottle of water in the desert. Four people called on it while I was buying it! Hey 55, if you find another T-Bird to steal, let me know and I'll have it shipped!

 

i can do that dude ... i really don't have the need for that black 96 if they figure out whether they want to sell or not . it's a 4.6 doesn't smoke , no funny noises , no leaks , 4 wheel discs , it just might be missing the deck spoiler , and it's got two 91 rims and two 96 rims on it . no rust , not wrecked , but bad door hinges . they drive it every day , when it isn't giving them fits { it's the nuetral safety switch but i'm sure as hades not telling them } not starting . if they do i'll let ya know . either way even though i don't need it i'll grab it just because ...... and i'll keep my eye out . do know where theres another garnett red one , but it's got some rust in the rockers behind the doors . i'll wander by it too sometime . know of a real pretty blue { ford true blue , that dark hue } with a grayish/ blueish interior that has all of a sudden become parked . it's left quarter has a couple of wrinkles ............... a white and a light blue 95 sitting in loami and the blue in town here just about a mile from me ..... like i said their abundant here !!!!!!!

 

damn I live 2 hours away from you and they aren't that plentiful here,that is for sure!! and if they are for sale,they aren't anything resembling cheap.

 

you'd be surprised cj !! you just gotta be in the right place and time . oh and never show up in a shiny new car as they think you got cash then !!!!!! like i said my garnett red 4.6 was $200 , my 53 cost 2700 , the newly acquired 52 customline 2500 . there's a few mark 8's sitting here and there too . i also nabbed a 4 valve intech mod from a boneyard for $120 bucks . i just sold it though to help with something else . i run a contract mail route so i get around on a lot of county roads etc. and i have a tendency to wander around on my days off and be nosy . also everyone knows i'm an automotive junkie so if they see a ford anything they usually tell me about it ............. i'm trying to find the kid in athens who has a 94 sc w/ auto for sale . she wanted 900 for a really nice beige sc bird that she is driving daily !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! later gotta go make some cash to pay for the habit !!!!!!!!!!!

 

welp the fine folks i've talked to so far with a couple of the birds areoutta there minds and another won't sell even though it's just sitting turning into fertilizer . found the twin to mine , the aforementioned one on a car lot . the front tires are worn unevenly on the outside so we know we got alignment / suspension issues , the shocks and struts look like they've never been touched , it has bad rust hidden under some putty in the rear rockers , the tailpipes are a real sooty black like it's running rich , it smokes some , and the factory sunroof leaks , and wiring habgin from under the dash . a big red light to me !!!!!!!!! 3,000 . told him to go back inside and smoke some more crack and visit lala land again . the black one is still up in the air , the true blue one is blowen up they say , and he's gonna replace it with one from a gt stang when he gets the cash . ok it'll rust into nothing ........ the light blue one has been wrecked in the right front , but otherwise a nice car , and they think it's worth about the same as the car lot's . i still got a line on some more fella's , oh and the wrecked but driveable mark 8 i found , well they sold it to a junkyard for 135 dollars , noone called me !!!!!!!!!!!!!! da--it they had my number too !!!!!!!!!!!!!
