Transmission Position Indicator
I've just purchased a 98 Expy, EB Edition. The Transmission Position indicator, when in "D" position is to the right of the "D", about halfway between the 2 positions. Is "tweaking" this easy? What do I need to disassemble to get to it?

Transmission Position Indicator
The indicator is controled via a cable. This should be fairly easy to do. You must gain acess under the dash. Find the cable (white or black) and locate the adjusting wheel. Turn the wheel to the desired position.

Thanks for your information. I located the cable under the dash. However, the little plastic bracket which held the cable was broken and it was impossible to adjust it.
I own a guitar and amplifier repair shop and I used a small coil spring, which is normally used under electric guitar pickups for adjustment purposes, to "fix" the bracket which holds the cable. Now the indicator is aligned perfectly. Can't beat the price!
