YES!!!
Finally gave my new 400 the official test Wednesday night, 10 days after finishing the build, and installing it in my truck. My truck is a 79 f-250 4x4 with a 400 and a c6, it weighs 5860 LBS..
I have a stock stall converter, a 400 with stock stroke, stock rods, 2v cast heads, a little bit of a cam (little bit may be a stretch, but it idles smooth and plenty of vacuum) TMI pistons, single plane intake, and 750 Holley Dp carb.
I ran a 13.806 @ Bandimere in Morrison Colorado. That was spinning / wheel hopping .At sealevel, corrected ET would be a 12.984, which would require 529 HP.
