dpf delete exhaust

whats the better choice dpf delete pipe, dpf/cat delete,or full exhaust w/deletes? going to get a spartan tuner. any input is good. thanks to all on this site that give me more info than I could get any where else just by lurking.
my truck is a 2009 cc/long/lariat

I am probably just going to do the delete pipe instead of the full exhaust. I am going to go this route because it keeps the stock look and if you have to put the DPF back on for warranty work and such, then it should be easier to change that out rather than putting the entire exhaust back on.

Do the DOC/DPF delete pipe. Don't just do the DPF delete.

That is what I meant. There is some gasket in-between the two that you have to replace if you just do the DPF delete pipe.

That's correct. Also, if you delete the DPF, but leave the DOC on, the DOC will not get hot enough to function properly and eventually clog.

thanks for the responses I think I will go with the complete exhaust with no muffler (due to cost) and if I do need to put it back to stock the tips and muffler will be clean with no soot

Well mine already have some soot in them, so that is probably another reason for me to just got with a delete pipe.
