Yes they do make a gauge selector. Which you would have to buy seperate from this deal because he is selling with the EX switcher. Check out the link here and you will see what im talkin about. Click on the drop down box for "multi-position switch"

The automatics are setup to control the trans too.
Its the same with PCM's, you cannot use an auto PCM in a manual truck.
It doesn't detect the trans sensors, cause the programing isn't in the PCM.
So, you'll have really poor shifts, or no shifts at all with the settings. Thats my guess on that.
It changes the shift points on the trans pretty much with the auto stuff.
