Some one on this site should know the answer.I have a dist. for a 351C,will that work it the 302-351W block?I though I read somewhere that they fit but you have to change the drive gear.Is that so.

No. The 351C will fit the 429/460 however.
The 302 is the same as 221-289 with the exception of two sizes of gear bore and steel vs. cast iron gear material.
The 351W distributor is unique, and also has steel or cast iron gears to suit flat tappet or roller camshaft.
